Company overview

The company WINE BAR CARAVIN is active in the field of catering and short term rentals. Founded in 2018, based in Thiseio, it was created Caravin Wine & Wanderlust, one of the most popular wine restaurants in the historic center of Athens.
In 2023 we are expanding our activities in the short term rental sector by adding 3 apartments to our portfolio. The company's prospects in both areas of activity are dynamic and more properties will soon be added to our portfolio.

Challenge

Trying to find a solution to the eternal problem of energy saving in our accommodation, in my search on the internet I was confronted with various proposed solutions. Choosing HAM Systems seemed like a one-way street not only because of the assurance of energy savings and reduction in the cost of energy consuming appliances in our accommodation, but also for its innovative application that allows the customer to fully control the operation of their air conditioner.

In an age where technology has well and truly entered every aspect of our lives, it cannot but complement the overall guest experience in a short term rental accommodation.

Solution

Our need was met with the HAM RemoteAC device, with which we can, by giving full control of the air conditioner to our guests with QR code capability, ensure the controlled use of the air conditioner and limiting the unnecessary use. ΗΑΜ Systems with the Remote AC device does this in the most modern, enjoyable and at the same time simple way, so that even the guest who is not familiar with the technology does not encounter any difficulty and enjoys the overall experience.

Moreover, the use of the application to manage the air conditioners is only done when the guest is connected to the Wi-Fi of the accommodation and this ability is negated when he/she is removed from it.

Installing the devices and synchronizing with the air conditioners requires a few steps that are detailed on the ΗΑΜ Systems website and is a simple and short process.
