According to ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 55, Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy, the temperature should be in the range of 22.5-26°C in summer and 20-23.5°C in winter. You should simply set the air conditioning temperature within this range and start the unit at the right time.

Built-in temperature and humidity sensor
Air conditioner thermostats usually use built-in sensors that are inevitably inaccurate because they measure the temperature where the indoor units are installed, not the actual room you are in. They can only make an educated guess at best.
Thanks to HAM RemoteAC's built-in temperature and humidity sensor, you can know the temperature where it matters and optimize based on it, with easy-to-use If-This-Then-That style rules.
Plug and play
Easy setup and control
It is literally plug and play. All you need is a Wi-Fi network with an Internet connection. HAM RemoteAC communicates with the air conditioner in the same way as the remote control, using infrared light.
Place the device anywhere in the room where there is a clear line of sight to the air conditioner (range is max 8m).
Setting up the Wi-Fi credentials with the app takes a few minutes. Then select your brand and search for a code set that works. Thousands of codesets are already supported and we keep adding more!

How does it communicate with the air conditioner? Where should it be installed?
The device communicates with your air conditioner just like your remote control, using infrared (IR) light.
Place it anywhere in the room where there is a clear line of sight between the front of the HAM RemoteAC and the air conditioner. The max range is 8m.
Is my A/C supported?
HAM RemoteAC supports 99% of the IR-controlled air conditioners on the market. Even if your brand is not listed, it is very likely that you will find a working codeset in the first results of the unbranded list.
If for some reason you cannot find a working code set for your air conditioner, you can contact our support.
Can I give access to others?
Yes! Every device can be setup to be accessible by more than one user based on the permissions set by the owner/administrator.
Can it detect when a window is open and turn off the air conditioner?
To do this, you would need to pair the HAM RemoteAC with HAM GPISense, which is used to detect open windows.
Where are they made?
Our devices are designed and tested in EU (Greece). All of our devices have passed all required lab tests to have the CE mark affixed.
